Mouse TECK ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of mouse TECK in serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants. This assay employs an antibody specific for mouse TECK coated on a 96-well plate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and TECK present in a sample is bound to the wells by the immobilized antibody. The wells are washed and biotinylated anti-mouse TECK antibody is added. After washing away unbound biotinylated antibody, HRP-conjugated streptavidin is pipetted to the wells. The wells are again washed, a TMB substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of TECK bound. The Stop Solution changes the color from blue to yellow, and the intensity of the color is measured at 450 nm. TECK ELISA Kit should be stored at 4°C for upto 6 months.
Chemokines (Greek -kinos, movement) are a family of small cytokines, or proteins secreted by cells. Their name is derived from their ability to induce directed chemotaxis in nearby responsive cells; they are chemotactic cytokines.Members of the chemokine family are divided into four groups depending on the spacing of their first two cysteine residues. Thus the nomenclature for chemokines is, e.g.: CCL1 for the ligand 1 of the CC-family of chemokines, and CCR1 for its respective receptor.
