An Introduction of Vitriol

vitriol
Sulfuric acid (alternative spelling sulphuric acid) is a highly caustic strong mineral acid with the molecular formula H2SO4. It is a colorless to slightly yellow viscous liquid which is soluble in water at all concentrations. The historical name of this acid is oil of vitriol.

It is a diprotic acid which may show different properties depending upon its concentration. The corrosiveness of it on metals, stones, animals' tissues or other materials can be mainly ascribed to its strong acidic nature and if concentrated strong dehydrating property and strong oxidizing property.

Possessing different chemical properties, the sulfuric acid has a wide range of applications including domestic acidic drain cleaner, electrolyte in lead-acid batteries and various cleaning agents. It is also a central substance in the chemical industry. Principal uses include mineral processing, fertilizer manufacturing, oil refining, wastewater processing, and chemical synthesis. It is widely produced with different methods, such as contact process, wet sulfuric acid process and some other methods.

An Introduction of Antimonous Oxide

antimonous oxide

Antimony trioxide(antimonous oxide) is the inorganic compound with the formula Sb2O3. It is the most important commercial compound of antimony. It is found in nature as the minerals valentinite and senarmontite. Like most polymeric oxides, Sb2O3 dissolves in aqueous solutions only with hydrolysis.

Item Name:  antimonous oxideScope of application:  Enamel, paint, paint, ceramics, metallurgy, chemical industry, etc.
Technical standard: GB/T 4062-1998

Antimony trioxide is an amphoteric oxide, dissolving in alkaline solution to give antimonites and in acid solution to given a range of polyantimonous acids. It can be readily oxidized to antimony pentoxide and related antimony(V) compounds, but it is also easily reduced to antimony, sometimes with production of stibine.

Uses of Industrial Zinc Sulfate

Industrial zinc sulfate
Item Name:  Industrial zinc sulfate
molecular formula:  ZnSO4*7H2O
Technical standard: HG/T 2326-92
Properties: White powder or needle crystal, easily soluble in water, insoluble in alcohol and ketone, gradual weathering in the air.
Scope of application:  Chemical industry, chemical fiber, processing, metallurgy, electroplating and circulation cooling water treatment, etc.

Industrial zinc sulfate is a type of white or slight yellow crystal or powder. It should meet the requirements of HG / T 2326-92. Industrial zinc sulfate is mainly used for man-made fibers, electrolysis, electroplating, inorganic pigment, feed, pesticides, and the needle enhancer and fertilizer.

Zinc sulfate is used in the manufacturing process for making rayon. A solution of zinc sulfate, sulfuric acid and sodium is injected into raw rayon; it coagulates and is spun into rayon fiber. Rayon fiber is then used in the manufacturing of tires, rubber hoses and industrial belts. Zinc sulfate is used along with sulfuric acid to produce electricity. It has also been found to be effective in the removal of moss stains on roofs because it will not stain or corrode aluminum or galvanized gutters.
