Functional Efficacy of Vitamin K3

 Vitamin K3
Menadione (vitamin K3) is a synthetic chemical compound sometimes used as a nutritional supplement because of its vitamin K activity. It is an analog of 1,4-naphthoquinone with a methyl group in the 2-position.

Vitamin nutrition supplements. Vitamin K is good for the liver synthesis of the essential substance of the original enzyme (factor B), and to participate in the coagulation factor VII, IX, and X synthesis, to maintain the animal's blood coagulation physiological process. Lack of vitamin K can cause the above coagulation factor synthesis disorder, affecting the coagulation process and cause bleeding. Vitamin K for the animal body (mainly refers to the presence in the tissues and organs such as liver, bone, testis, skin and kidney) of vitaminK-dependent carboxylation system necessary, is an indispensable factor in the process of bone protein (BGP) synthesis. In addition, in the high-energy compound metabolism and oxidative phosphorylation, as well as other fat-soluble vitamin metabolism plays an important role, and with a diuretic, to enhance liver detoxification function, and to participate in the structure of the membrane, lowers blood pressure function.
